Doors That Open Right. Trim That Sits Flush.

Squeaky hinges, sticking doors, missing baseboard, sagging shelves — the kind of carpentry work that makes a house feel finished and right.

Built Clean, Set Level, Made to Last

Good carpentry work is felt more than it’s seen. A door that swings and latches without a fight. Trim that meets the wall without gaps. A shelf that doesn’t wobble under weight. These are the details that separate a house that feels maintained from one that doesn’t.

David handles all types of residential carpentry — from a sticking door to a full set of custom shelves. Every cut is measured twice, every fastener is set properly, and every piece of trim is caulked and finished before we call it done.

FAQ

Common Questions About Carpentry

Can you hang a door I already purchased?+
Yes — supply-and-install or install-only both work. If you’ve already bought the door, we’ll bring it in and set it. If you need help sourcing one, we can advise on sizing and style before you buy.
What’s the difference between repairing a door and replacing it?+
Most sticking or latching issues are fixable without replacement — swollen wood, shifted hinges, misaligned strike plates. If the door frame itself is damaged or the door is warped beyond adjustment, replacement makes more sense. We’ll give you an honest assessment before recommending either.
Can you match existing trim I already have installed?+
We work with standard profiles available at lumber and home improvement stores. We’ll measure your existing trim and source a match. If it’s a custom or discontinued profile, we can get close and fill the transitions cleanly.
Do you do deck rebuilds, or just repairs?+
Primarily repairs — replacing rotted or broken boards, reattaching rails, fixing structural issues at the post or ledger level. Full deck rebuilds from scratch are typically a larger project we evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
Can you build custom shelving or built-ins?+
Yes. We build simple to moderately complex shelving, built-in storage, and closet systems. More elaborate millwork or cabinet-grade built-ins are quoted as a full project — just describe what you have in mind.
