Better Security. Without the Locksmith Markup.
Lock installation, rekeying, deadbolt upgrades, and smart lock setup — the security work your home needs, done by someone who shows up on time and charges a fair price.
New Lock, New Tenant, New Home — Get the Locks Right
Most lock work doesn’t require a locksmith on call — it requires someone who can measure a door, source the right hardware, install it correctly, and confirm the deadbolt throws cleanly every time. That’s work a skilled handyman handles well, and at a price that doesn’t assume you’re locked out at 2 a.m.
We handle lock installation, replacement, and rekeying for residential properties — new homeowners who want the peace of mind of fresh locks, landlords turning over a unit, and homeowners upgrading older hardware. If a job requires a licensed locksmith (automotive, high-security vault work, or certain commercial applications), we’ll tell you upfront.
- Doorknob and lever set installation and replacement
- Deadbolt installation — single and double cylinder
- Rekeying residential locks (all common brands)
- Smart lock installation and setup (Schlage, Kwikset, Yale, etc.)
- Keypad and code-entry lock installation
- Door strike plate reinforcement and upgrade
- Handleset and entry door hardware replacement
- Lock repair — loose, stiff, or misaligned latch or bolt
- Full door hardware replacement on single or multiple doors
Rekeying and Replacing — What’s the Difference?
One of the most common questions we get on lock jobs. Here’s the honest breakdown of which option makes sense when.
🔑 Rekeying
The existing lock hardware stays. We change the pin configuration inside the cylinder so old keys no longer work and new ones are cut to match. Faster and less expensive than full replacement.
Best for: New homebuyer, tenant changeover, lost key, wanting all doors on one key
🔒 Full Replacement
Entire lock set removed and replaced with new hardware. Necessary when existing hardware is damaged, worn, low-security grade, or when upgrading to a deadbolt or smart lock that replaces a knob-only setup.
Best for: Damaged locks, security upgrade, smart lock conversion, cosmetic update
