The Difference Between a Clean Surface and One That Looks Clean

There’s a visible line between a surface that’s been swept and one that’s been properly pressure washed. Algae, mold, road grime, oil stains, embedded dirt — these don’t come off with a garden hose. Professional pressure washing removes buildup at the source and gives surfaces their actual color back.

We use the right pressure and nozzle combination for each surface type. Concrete can handle high pressure; vinyl siding, wood decking, and painted surfaces need a softer wash. Getting this wrong damages what you’re trying to clean — we don’t guess at it.

  • Walkways, steps, and entry paths
  • Vinyl, brick, and stucco siding
  • Wood and composite decks

  • Wood and vinyl fencing
  • Garage floors and interior concrete

What We Clean

Every Surface Gets the Right Treatment

Too much pressure damages soft surfaces. Too little leaves stains behind. We match pressure, nozzle, and technique to the surface — every time.

🏠

House Siding

Soft washing for vinyl, stucco, and brick — removes algae, mold streaks, and weathering without lifting paint or damaging panels.

🚗

Driveways & Concrete

High-pressure surface cleaning removes oil stains, tire marks, algae growth, and years of embedded grime from concrete and asphalt.

🌿

Decks & Patios

Wood and composite decks washed at the right pressure to remove mold, mildew, and surface staining — ready for staining or sealing after.

🧱

Walkways & Pavers

Paths, steps, and paver patios cleaned to remove dirt, moss, and biological growth — without disturbing the sand between pavers.

🪵

Fences

Wood and vinyl fencing washed clean — removes weathering, mold, and oxidation so fences look maintained instead of neglected.

🏗️

Garage & Interior Concrete

Garage floors, storage areas, and other interior concrete surfaces degreased and cleaned — oil, dirt, and staining lifted off.

What to Expect

What a Pressure Wash Actually Does to a Surface

Most homeowners are surprised by how different surfaces look when buildup that’s accumulated over years is fully removed — not just rinsed.

😟

Before: What Buildup Does

Algae and mold make concrete look black or green. Siding looks gray and dingy from oxidation and biological growth. Decks look almost silver-gray from weathering. Oil stains on driveways spread and darken over time. None of this comes off with normal cleaning.

After: What Gets Restored

Concrete returns to its actual light gray color. Siding looks like it was freshly painted. Deck boards show their real wood tone again. Walkways and driveways look clean — not just swept. Curb appeal improves significantly in a single afternoon.

Driveway pressure washing
Driveway and walkway — Lawrenceville, GA Four-year-old concrete driveway covered in algae and tire marks from edge to edge. Two-hour job, soft pre-treatment followed by surface clean. Concrete came back to original light gray — homeowner said it looked new.
Deck washing
Wood deck prep wash — Duluth, GA Deck hadn’t been stained in six years. Heavy mold and gray weathering across all boards. Soft washed at wood-safe pressure, left to dry 48 hours, then stained by homeowner. Boards came back clean and stain-ready.
FAQ

Common Questions About Pressure Washing

Will pressure washing damage my siding or deck?+
Not when it’s done correctly. Vinyl siding, wood decks, and painted surfaces require lower pressure and wider nozzle angles — what’s often called soft washing. High pressure is appropriate for concrete and brick but would damage wood or vinyl if applied the same way. We adjust technique per surface before we start.
How long does pressure washing take?+
A standard driveway takes 1–2 hours. A full house exterior wash takes 3–5 hours depending on size and condition. Decks and patios typically take 1–2 hours. We’ll give you a time estimate when we see the scope — and we don’t leave until it’s done properly.
Can you remove oil stains from a concrete driveway?+
For fresh or moderate stains, yes — a degreaser pre-treatment followed by high-pressure surface cleaning pulls most oil stains significantly or completely. Old, deeply set stains (years of buildup) may lighten but not disappear entirely. We’ll tell you what to expect honestly based on what we see before we start.
Should I pressure wash before painting or staining?+
Yes — always. Paint and stain don’t bond properly to dirty, moldy, or chalky surfaces. Pressure washing before any exterior paint or deck staining job is standard prep that makes the finish last significantly longer. We wash, you let it dry fully (usually 24–48 hours), then paint or stain.
How often should I pressure wash my driveway or siding?+
In Georgia’s climate, once a year is a reasonable baseline for concrete and siding — the humidity promotes algae and mold growth faster than drier climates. Decks and fences benefit from washing every 1–2 years before any restaining. If you’re not sure, call us and describe what you’re seeing — we’ll tell you whether it’s time.
Do I need to be home during the pressure washing?+
Not necessarily. For exterior surfaces like driveways, siding, and fences, we can complete the job without you present. We’ll need access to an outdoor water spigot. For decks and patios that require gate access, we’ll coordinate beforehand. Just let us know your situation when you book.
